In a private classes I am completely focused on your needs and will be able to watch for compensating movements that may be causing a lot of your back, shoulder or neck problems.

What can I expect to happen in the classes?

- We will discuss your needs and go over the areas you're experiencing pain and tension.
- Go over relevant medical history and activities you can no longer do because of your pain and stiffness.
- I will record this information to create a complete postural assessment that I keep on file and update every time I see you.
- Then it’s time to start moving.
- We may not use traditional yoga postures in our first class. Our priorities are to create relaxation in the surface muscles, stimulate the postural muscles and understand the stability of the core.
- You will be emailed exercises to practice at home.

- We will talk about how your homework went and generally how things are feeling in your body.
- We will practice the Critical Alignment exercises again and if you are ready add new exercises and/or yoga postures.
- I offer the options to purchase 1 class or 5 classes.
- The process of changing your postural habits may involve having a dedicated practice for a long time.
- I recommend buying a 5 class package and we will talk about your progress in the last class.
- You may feel more comfortable attending my semi-private classes or group classes after doing private sessions.
